Gina Elena Gogean, born on 9^th September 1978, is a retired Romanian artistic gymnast who competed in the late 1980s and during 1990s.

• Bagged nine gold medals, two silver medals and four bronze medals at the World Championships in various events
• Won the silver medal in 1992 and a silver medal and three bronze medals at the 1996 Olympic Games
• Clinched five gold medals, four silver medals and a bronze medal in different events at the European Championships

Born on 9th September 1966, Alison Sydor is a retired cross country mountain cyclist from Canada. She has won 17 World Cup races in her career and finished each of her career races being amongst the top five positions.

 Her major encompassments are given here- 

• Alison secured a bronze medal at the UCI Road World Championships of 1991, held in Stuttgart, Germany.
• In 1996, Alison bagged a silver medal in mountain biking at the Summer Olympics, held in Atlanta and secured the fifth and fourth position in the Summer Olympics of 2000 and 2004 respectively.  
• Alison received the prestigious “Velma Springstead Trophy” in 1995 and 1996 as Canada's Top Female cyclist.
• She clinched two gold medals at the PAN American Games of 1995 and 2003, held in Argentina and Santo Domingo respectively.
