Geraldine Heaney, born on 1st October 1967, is an Irish-Canadian former ice hockey player and coach. She played for the Toronto Aeros as the defenceman. Internationally, she has played for the Canadian national team. She became the coach of the University of Waterloo Warriors after her retirement as a player.

Won a gold medal in 2002 and a silver medal in 1998 at the Winter Olympics, held in Salt Lake City and Nagano, respectively
Bagged gold medals at the IIHF World Women’s Championships in the years 1990, 1992, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001
Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013 and into the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2014
