Born on 14th June 1969, Stefanie Maria Graf is a German former tennis player, who achieved 22 Grand Slam singles titles with her sincere efforts and firm dedication towards her passion.
A brief Account of her achievements:-
- Steffi was ranked as world's No. 1 player by WTA for the longest period (377 weeks).
- She received the title of Golden Slam in 1988 after winning all 4 Grand Slam titles along with an Olympic medal (gold) in singles.
- Steffi is the only player to win all Grand Slam titles, each at least four times.
- In 2004, she was named in the International tennis hall of fame.
- She was chosen ITF World Champion seven times from 1987 to 1996.
- Voted as the German Sportsperson of the Year five times in the years 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1999.
- Graf is regarded as the greatest tennis player (female) of all time.
