His major achievements-
Spotted at 19th position at the World Youth Championships of 2013 by covering 66.75 m
Ranked 9th at the Asian Championship of 2015 by covering the distance of 70.50 m
Won a gold medal at the IAAF World U20 Championships of 2016, setting a junior world record
With a power throw of 82.23 m, Neeraj bagged a gold medal at the South Asian Games of 2016.
Bagged a gold medal at the Asian Athletic Championships of 2017 by covering a distance of 85.23 meters. The same year, he earned the 15thposition at the World Championships with a distance covered 82.26 m.
At the Commonwealth Games of 2018, Neeraj dished out a clinical performance by winning a gold medal with a season-best effort of 86.47 meters, becoming the first Indian to win a javelin throw event of CWG.
